ABOUT the award
The Clevedon Future Leaders Award is an employability scheme developed by Clevedon School Sixth Form to enable students to broaden their skill set and develop real-life experiences. Students undertake extra-curricular activities throughout their two years of study in order to help develop their self-confidence, communication skills and sense of community. Under the broad themes of "skills" "volunteering" and "enterprise" students complete five blocks of activities each lasting eight weeks (three in Year 12 and two in Year 13) so that they are able to articulate a broad range of attributes when it comes to personal statements, letters of application, and interviews.
